The Seven Sisters from the old coastguards cottages.

One of the most beautiful scenes in the British Isles. Believe me, it was even more beautiful walking around here with these views and only the sound of sea birds for company.

Inspired after seeing a recent photo in a fellow Ipernity collection by John Goodwin: www.ipernity.com/doc/2248118/47020146 I thought I would bring out an old Panoramio-like photo of mine when I was walking around these parts. Hope you think it was worth it! Enjoy full screen. SEE PIP for my other shot.

Herb Riddle replied to Erhard Bernstein:

You see Erhard - just as I was saying to Lothar above! A wonderful place to walk and photograph. I imagine more people from abroad would have been here than British perhaps. I remember seeing German and French buses full of tourist in the Birling Gap car-park! Good that it has brought back memories.

Herb Riddle replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

Thanks again Rosa -yes definitely a must place to visit. It helps if you are in car though to start at different places on different days. More chocolates and calendars winging their way to you. -
ps John has now posted the same shot too.
