A long the Road

After the funeral yesterday for my brother in law and attending the wake at his house with all the family and friends. We come home to a home with no power at all our whole area is on a black out. In the cold light of the new day I have one laptop running on the battery used to run the mount and the internet from the phone. I have only a few photos on the phone so you get a grassy view. not at all happy with Ipernity on the phone I was not able to message any one .

I was not able to open or get a message out yesterday that I would not be able to open HFF thank you to the person who had my back never been quite in a situation as this before. I have to deal with CWP but it 100% requires the desk top so It has to wait for the power to come back on by all accounts 8 PM tonight.

I hope your internet will be back soon, not only because of the CWP but for your convenience! HFF Steve.

An outbreak of pole top fires following the first autumn rain. Well, first autumn drizzle (0.4mm). Maybe it's time to have concrete stobie power poles in WA, but I'd hate for us to have to copy the Croweaters in South Australia ;-). Good luck, mate.

Ironic conversation given the power lines which grace this photograph. HFF (or at least Getting Better Fence Friday).

Steve Paxton replied to Old Owl:

I am watching and recording on phone and DSLR. the pole one away from the one in front of our house is the offending pole. Some phone and DSLR shots will follow of the whole procedure pole is now 5 ' shorter but good as new. Yes at the wake and the light rains I did wounder never expecting it was outside our door. 1 1/2 hours will all be over. that was the only fence I had on the phone and its a good match for the last 24 hours alright.

Then it will be a HFF for me at least .
