Not so Shy Dragons NGC6188

This was made out of the same shot as the first one all this detail is behind the stars when you remove them. The trick is adding back some stars took me all afternoon ( Well Its Bucketing down with rain why not).

Enjoy a real part of hidden space.
PIP the original photo with all the stars.

A lovely astro image, Steve. FWIW, over the past few days we've had about 150mm!

Steve Paxton replied to tiabunna:

thank you how I always wanted to show the photos in the first place that the detail of the nebula was the most importance. I know we had 50mm of rain yesterday so more coming your way ,it seems to me we are getting the water needed to have the land recover after the summers fires. just hope it does not mean a bad season coming up as well.....

Steve Paxton replied to Herb Riddle:

many thanks I do know just what you mean truly a mass of stars in the shot but removing the stars give you all that detail that has been hidden. great program first time I could not get it to work but I think wrong file type. look forward to getting some more once all this rain stops. glad that you like the shot makes a great background on the computer.

Steve Paxton replied to Ko Hummel:

In truth just how I wanted to show these the work is because I am not a Photoshop person at all. I can truly say that the rains helped yesterday made it easier to spend the time. the results of Carina and the Lagoon nebula have come out even better but as they are not a photo most would look at I will not post here.

Carina

compare the link below a whole lot better shot and done the very same way. thanks for your encouragement.
