Ronald Losure replied to Janet Brien:

Thanks a lot, Janet. It is actually a vine and not a tree. Here www.ipernity.com/doc/1050739/48448344 is a closeup of one of the flowers that fell to the ground.

Peut-ĂȘtre un peu envahissante mais les couleurs sont belles sur ce fond de verdure !************

Ronald Losure replied to Jocelyne Villoing:

Thank you very much, Jocelyne. The flowers make a wonderful display along the river bank. The vine doesn't strangle trees like some other vines do.

Have never seen such an abundance and not a butterfly in sight ... or maybe it's a hummingbird favorite!

Ronald Losure replied to Betty JW:

I'm not sure who visits them. The cross-vine flowers around my house are so high in the trees I can't tell who pollinates them. There were so many of these vines climbing the trees by the river bank here.
