Im PiP1 das Deckengemälde "Rast der Diana" und in PiP2 "Göttermahl".
Im 1. Stock ist der sogenannte Kaisersaal, in dem immer wieder bedeutsame Konzerte geboten werden.
Die Residenz mit Hofgarten und Residenzplatz im Süden Deutschlands wurde 1981 als außergewöhnliches barockes Gesamtkunstwerk in die UNESCO-Welterbeliste aufgenommen.
