It`s every year, 2 weeks in October. ....
There are so much light installations, you never know, where to start and what to show ....
today I will start with this green sculptures

schöne Reflexe - sieht aber eher golden aus :-)))

.... dieses Ding hier selbst ist fast farblos (metallisch grau), wird aber mit verschiedenfarbigen Scheinwerfern angeleuchtet.

un peu effrayant !!!

Apart from the wings, this reminds me of the Cloak of Conscience by by Anna Chromý in Prague. I found the sculpture somewhat unsettling.

... see above, Amelia - there is a link to the artist`s page (Wikipedia). There you can see, what kind of sculptures he creates. The "Guardians of time" are specially made for our light-festival.
The years before they always changed there place in town, so we had to go hunting them ... this year it´s a bit boring, they will take place on a fix point during all 2 weeks.

.... ich bin total neugierig:
dieses Jahr werden die "Wächter" zum ersten Mal grüne Umhänge haben (all die Jahre zuvor waren sie rot), und sie stehen um unseren Neptunbrunnen herum .... schwierig zu fotografieren, denke ich.
