V&A looking towards Port of Dundee

I think that these strips visible in the photo are electrified in order to deter birds, mainly gulls and pigeons from roosting on the architecture of the V&A in Dundee. Apparently there is also a sonic emitter in the archway to deter birds as well.

A most striking design of a building. If it's fitted.. then the electric system makes good sense.. as the construction appears a perfect layout to house thousands of various birds...which we all like.. but they can make a mess.

I guess you haven't touched the strips to test whether they are really electrified;-) I like the lines in your photo a lot, it's perfectly composed! HFF, Amelia!

Interesting building design Amelia, Perhaps they should have thought about providing an alternative Roosting place for the birds.
