Playing with emojis
Ipernity supports only UTF-8 characters, and this is why we don't have the basic unicode emojis familiar today in our use. So, only way to get them is cumbersome "manual" way.

First you will need a set of emoji pictures to work with:

Then you have to crop, resize and save a single tiny image for every emoji you wish to use. For example like this:
smile

Then you just need to copy the HTML/BBCode of the emoji you wish to use from your album and paste it as an image in the middle of the text.

The limitation is that you may not be allowed to use images on someone else's comment area here at Ipernity. But at least you can use them under your own images and files.
wink

Good to know before you start using images on comments

Nowadays the Emoji are a part of our communication.
Used sparingly, they complement a sentence in a funny
way and sometimes "on the fast" (What´sApp)
they are indispensable. Here at Ipernity I see this rather with mixed feelings...
then "thumbs up" are posted and endlessly many "stars" are distributed.
I hope that the written word will remain the most important part of a comment.

Yes,personally I will try to use them sparingly here at Ipernity. Both written and image versions.
