Sad Days at Flickr, Happy Days at Ipernity
Like many here, I have been pushed out of flickr where I had found a community of like-minded photographers. The new format is awful, but I could not stay to be with my friends because I live in a rural area with limit on monthly internet. For me there was no choice to stay.

Ipernity understands the value of bringing photographers together from the world over! I smile every time I find a familiar face, and have already found new people that I did not know about before.

Edit / Update: The best response is to develop more film and make more pictures!

New and a little different "culture" and way of doing things. Maybe like moving from the big city to a cozy rural town. I'm only using flickr with Minimalist Mobile Flickr and Flickriver, and it still feels more comfortable to come back here to this site. But I felt an almost tangible sense of relief getting back into developing and printing.

I already feel more at home here. There are some people over there doing things with old cameras and paper negatives that I'll miss, and it's harder to check in on them now. I haven't counted but I think more than half of the people whose work I regularly follow have moved here!

@ Formica, same here. I'm not missing it, but do miss some of my friends from there. Amazing how many of them moved over here though!
