These are new designs for my pendants......
Sorry folks that I have little to write about here, apart from my pendants. I haven't left the house since I came home from the hospital, although I have been visited by some nurses about twice a week, to take blood and to check up on me. It's good to know that the doctors etc are keeping a close eye on me. I've been taking my blood pressure every day - I'm a good girl - and I measure the weight every other day.

Well I lost 10 kilos of fluid around my heart whilst in hospital, and since I've been home I've lost another 4 kilos!!!! They have taken some of the medications to a lower rate, because I was losing too much fluid around my heart, kidneys and lungs, so I'm happy that I've lost the amount of fluid that I have. As long as I keep it up, then I won't have to go back to hospital - and I'm all for that.

Well since I've come home, I've been making more pendants, only I'm trying with ideas I hadn't tried before.

I've added more sparklers, some holographic tiny dots, also some silver ones.

These are done with bits of gold leaf, pink leaf etc. I used the silicone moulds which gave me the height I needed for the pendants, then glued them to the metal moulds to give them strength. I must admit they have come out so much better than I expected, so I think I might just make more this way....

The minute little holographic sparklers are gorgeous, some are stars, some circles and they each compliment the pendant itself.

I'm thinking about what design I might try next time - ie tomorrow!!! I am so happy doing these which is just as well, being cabined up like I am.

I received a letter today from the Coronovirus Study today - apparently I am now being classed as a clinically, extremely vulnerable person. So I can now be sure of help if I ask anyone. That's good to know - but I do prefer to try and do things for myself.

Well at least with the vaccines having started to be given out, there is a light at the end of the tunnel - if we can just be patient for a couple more months, then this virus can be kept at bay and we can all then start to live again!!! I just want to go to Turkey and see my daughter - but I've only had one vaccine so far and so I have to wait for the second dose and get the vaccine passport!

Please take care of each other and hey hey - summer is on its way!!!!!

Oh the pendants are just soo lovely! I do like things with some sparkle! You really must have enough to sell some... Theres definitely a market for these! Although then it becomes a job and not fun. Still perhaps you could sell just the ones made? I would buy them
Anyway, I know you can't wait to get to Turkey again. Will they have flights again soon? And how long before the doctors will even let you travel? Maybe at least Mandi can get home soon. Fingers crossed...

Thank you so much for the lovely words about my pendants, Gracie. I'm so pleased you like them. I looked at how many I had already finished and there are a lot - so you/re right and I will have to start selling them. The trouble is that whenever I do different styles, I can't decide which one I like!!!!

I'm back in hospital again, I've got to get the balance of my medication right,, and they can only do this in the hospital I'll let you all know when I come out.

More lovely designs, unique too.
I do hope things get back to some sort of normal before too long, and that we can all visit with loved ones once again. If you can't travel, maybe Mandi would be able to come and see you, though it does sound like you're making a good recovery :)

I would have agreed with you here, Fran, if I wasn't back in hospital again!!!!! On Monday I had a visit from the District Nurse who took some blood out of my arm. She'd sent it off and this morning I had a telephone call from the doctor who said that, for them to balance our the medications out so that both my kidneys and heart would both work properly, then I was going to have to come back into hospital so that they can keep an eye out for me and get the meds working well. So here I am - back in hospital again.- It's strange being in hospital yet feeling okay!!! Hopefully it won't Sp be for long.

So glad you like these pendants

I imagine you're not thrilled about the hospital. But at least they can keep an eye on you. We need you well and in top form. Just try not to be too bored and hopefully it will be a quick fix.
As to which are nicest, its a matter of taste for everyone. So sellling them will attract different people. Personally I love that oval you made a few weeks ago. The one you had yet to add the loop to. But you're right, so many are gorgeous. So unique! I envy people who have artistic talent like yours. Now hurry and get well! Xo

You say the nicest things Gracie. I'm going to have to look back and check which one you liked. So it's good to be here in the hospital to have the medical staff be on hand to help me with this situation. I just hope the situation isn't for long. You envy people who can do things like this - hey you are an incredible cook and you design your holiday decorations - I can't do that - so we are both able to do things others can't do.

I hope you are back home soon Jenny. I know hospitals can be tedious. I have been in them often enough. Take good care of yourself. Steve.

Thank you so much Steve, yes hospitals are tedious, but they're good to have around. The nurses are absolutely brilliant and very friendly. You take care of yourself too

Well I SAY I am a good cook. Next time we chat you'll have to ask Rick.I promise not to kick him if you ask either. As to designing talent, Im just putting things together. Mostly what others actually make. You're one who actually makes. I don't have the patience.

Hey I've seen your tables when they are groaning under the weight of your cooking - there's no way I could do that amount of cooking nor have the patience to do them. Maybe years ago I might have had, but not now.

You say you haven't any designing talent, you just put things together - that's exactly what I do. I look at things and see whether I like the shape, design etc and if I do then it's done, if I don't then I take stuff out or add stuff to the design. It's much the same as you, just with different items.
