Power Lines look alive to me.
This article is going to sound silly, but I want to share with you all why I've been interested in power lines my whole life. All power lines look like they are a live to me. In other words, they look almost as if they are actually living things no different than humans, animals, or birds.

When I look at poles, each and every one of them are unique and have its own personality. When they corner, or meander around the environment for example, they almost seem like they have emotions that convey it. Even a right-away consisting of the same pole spec is like hundreds of lives that look a like- like the same species such as a colony of bees but still unique to each other and the wires are like all of them holding hands uniting each other.

Power lines all look like loving beings bringing a gift to the world; electricity. I consider electricity to be kind of sacred because it can be transformed into almost anything like sound or a picture on a television, and the world really needs it right now. The power line poles are passing this special gift around the world giving it to everyone. Smaller transmission pylons are like young children while bigger 230-500kv pylons are like older wiser beings taking on a larger elite responsibility being in charge (no pun intended) to deliver more electricity.

When I see distribution lines on the roads split their main wires off to the side streets, the branch lines almost look like the pole is extending an arm out and pointing it to towards the destination. I know this sounds silly but when poles hold reclosers and transformers, they almost look like an actual person grasping and holding a heavy box that's important. Streetlights almost look like they are caringly extending an arm out and showering loving light to help people on the roads see better. Insulators look intense to me, I can feel every wire on every pole including the guy wires. Every single wire feels a live like it's part of a living thing and a living thing of its own. Bundled secondary wires look like a piece of liquorish or something you see during Christmas, and when it drops out of the transformers towards the houses, it almost looks as if the house is thirsty and drinking the electricity right from the conduit "termination cap" as if it's a hungry chickling being fed by its mother.

As I watch power lines being distributed all around the countryside and eventually into almost every building and house, it almost makes me feel slightly emotional; kind of like when I see someone do a good deed, helping people in need for the pleasure of doing so. It kind of makes me feel like we're all innocent. I know this probably sounds silly and you’re probably laughing but I'm completely serious about this. This is how I used to see power lines as a kid and that's how I still see them now, in fact, even more so. Therefore, these are some of the many reasons why I have always been into power lines. I thought I’d share this with you all.

I actually can somewhat relate! Most people I know think that all poles are the same and aren't unique, but us linegeeks agree to disagree.
