Google: Nach Panoramio erwischt es jetzt auch Google+ / After Panoramio, Google+ now closes as well
Hallo ehemalige Panoramio-User,
nachdem im November 2016 unser damals geliebtes Panoramio von Google eingestellt wurde und uns als Nachfolge-Community Google+ empfohlen wurde, hat es jetzt auch diese Community erwischt: Sie wird im August 2019 von Google eingestellt, bis dahin können die User ihre Daten sichern.

Update v. 17.12.18: Google+ wird nach einer erneuten Datenpanne bereits im April 2019 eingestellt!!!

Liest hier eigentlich die NSA mit?! Oh.. das war wohl schon ein Schlüsselwort.
Aber ist auch nicht weiter tragisch... die werden schon Möglichkeiten finden
um die Nutzerdaten zu sammeln... "1984" lässt noch immer Grüßen.

... millions of irreplaceable photos were lost (also photo-sharing communities were lost; and many photographers just stopped posting on the internet) ... but by far the biggest tragedy was the destruction of the photos ...
