Dead Bird - Pássaro Morto
I don't know if a bird dies in the air or on the ground
his last flight ends with open eyes and closed beak
the secrets of all winds he crossed become mute
chirping no longer vibrates his bones lightness
feathers don't warm his body anymore

each bird lying on the ground
is a dream of ours that dies.
Não sei se um pássaro morre no ar ou em terra
seu último voo termina de olhos abertos e bico fechado
emudecem os segredos de todos os ventos que trespassou
o chirear não mais lhe vibra na leveza dos ossos
as penas jamais lhe aquecem o corpo

cada pássaro caído no chão
é um sonho nosso que morre.
