Success!
I think I must have spent seven or eight hours today, trying to work out how to start transferring my almost 9,000 photos that are posted on flickr, lol! Part of the problem was that I couldn't remember my Yahoo password, so that all had to be changed. Then came downloading the two scripts to enable the transfer. Once the import to ipernity box appeared beneath the banner of my flickr page, it was the easiest thing in the world to click on the first 90 images to be copied .... then the second batch of 90 .... then the third .... Hey, folks, I think I'm addicted!!! This is so easy now - and I am so HAPPY and RELIEVED! Ha, ha, no need to comment on all my photos - a message especially for Art (LeapFrog) and Fran (Cats 93), two friends whom I value greatly. Gosh, I'm almost embarrassed to post many of the earliest shots, ha, but I do want an exact copy of flickr.

Clap, clap, clap!! Welcome to "Better than Old Flickr" Anne ... LOLOLOLOL!!

PS: Keep all of your photos on Flickr Anne ... after all, you have 1 TB of storage and they will come in handy!! I have about 8 TB of storage on Flickr ... since I have my alternate ID's where I posted my photos to put in the comments section ... I still use Flickr to do this ... as I have to pick up the HTML codes for my Ipernity posts ... I require "Club" to access these code here ... but I tried and found the HTML codes are the same in Flickr ... so I still remain a "free account" in Ipernity, as that was the only thing I required ... Thanks, Art! Yes, I have every intention of keeping all my photos on Flickr. I am a Pro member and my account is set up to be automatically renewed. $25 bucks is good value for having an extra back-up copy of my "better" photos. There are things that I do like about Flickr, also quite a few good friends still over there. Can't remember now - did you delete all your photos from flickr or did you just make them all private? Are there any stil there that you would transer (in bulk) over here?

Ha, they are all private ... and I knew it would be a pain to transfer, so I always take the easiest path ... after all, I still have 0.999999999999999 TB on this Flickr account and 7 TB on other ID's ... however, I will post some of my better ones here that remain on Flickr until done somewhere in the year 2387 ... LOL. Personally I do not understand transferring the photos here that were posted years ago ... but then, that is how I think ... LOL
