Group suggestions or invitations for your pictures
Hello everyone!

Some images on "Explore/Gallery" cannot be suggested or invited to the group ❖ Ipernity Photo Gallery ❖ (formerly "Ipernity Frontpage & What's Hot!") although
they comply with the rules of ipernity and the group. This usually happens when a photo has been added to too many groups and/or there are too many group suggestions or invitations.

So far, if possible, I've referred internally to this fact, but kindly ask you to take care of it yourself from now on and make sure that I can suggest or invite your contributions if you want to add them to this group.

Of course, as a group member, you're also still free to propose rules-compliant contributions for this group yourself.

Thanks for your understanding and have always good light.

Comprehensible, Katja, since it doesn't affect your pictures so far.

Each image can only be posted to a specific number of groups. Once this limit has been reached, no further group suggestions or invitations can be made, so not even for the group Ipernity Frontpage & What's Hot! (or others).

With pleasure.
However, this is no background knowledge, Katja, it's displayed when you suggest pictures for groups posted in too many groups. Thanks anyway.

This is an unspoken fact. After photos are added to the maximum number of groups, they can't be invited or placed in additional groups. Admins have no way around this embedded software limitation so if you want your picture in Frontpage and it makes Explore, keep one group free for the Frontpage invite.

That's the point.

The other option: As I've mentioned above, group members can also send their pictures directly to the group as soon as they are in "What's hot!", have the minimum number of favs and also comply with all other rules of the group.

Thank you, William.

Still a wee bit fuzzy about all this, but I 'll try to sort it out by checking out the group rules etc. Having said that...I do love bring spontaneously invited without having asked myself!

Today I realized the value of the groups administrated by you. They provide wonderful curated quality overview on several popular subjects.

As being curated, they do provide versatile selection filtered from copyright infringements.

For example one can run searches on those groups according to some subjects presented on titles and captions, and discussed on comments:

So, thank you for this work! For quite some time I've been looking for ways to truly explore quality photos at ipernity, and now I seem to have found what I've been looking for.

My pleasure. Thanks a lot, Sami.

Since all but the group "IPERNITY Hall of Fame" are orphaned groups that apparently were not moderated from the beginning, there is still a lot of work to be done to bring them back to their original purpose and to achieve the quality that I think every group should have.

Particularly intensive, ongoing cleanup work is required for the group you have chosen as an example here. In addition, I have recently taken over another orphaned and completely neglected group and am trying to save what can be saved.

In fact, on this occasion contributions that do not comply with ipernity's terms of service and/or the guidelines of good conduct will be removed, such as copyright violations, non-original derivations and images from the internet or parts of them, etc.

Although the cleanup work is far from over, I am very pleased that your search was/is successful.

Please take care and stay well.
